Weekly Rotating Payments

Each member contributes R250 per week. R200 rotates to the recipient of the week, giving them R1 000 per group per round a real, usable sum to invest in their business exactly when they need it.

Business Development Funding

Payments go toward what your business actually needs whether that’s a Wireman’s Licence, a card machine, PPE, an embroidery machine, signage, accounting software, or a CIDB certificate. The money follows your business goals.

Collective Stokvel Savings

R50 from each member’s weekly contribution goes into a shared savings pot building a collective fund members can borrow from, with fair interest, to cover urgent business or personal needs.

Founded on 01 April 2021, Group of 31 was built for entrepreneurs the electricians, caterers, beauticians, landscapers, retailers, and creatives who are building something real but need a financial community behind them. Every week, members pool contributions that rotate to each member in turn, giving them a meaningful lump sum to invest back into their business at the right moment.

Running Since 2021 — and Still Growing

Local Connect Stokvel has been operating since 01 April 2021 with a written constitution, clear payment rules, and a transparent rotation system that every member agrees to before joining. There are no hidden decisions every turn, every payment, and every rule is agreed upon collectively. Members have already received their payments and posted proof: pictures of equipment bought, certifications acquired, and businesses improved. That's our track record.
